I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in helping teens, young adults, and women in New York untangle anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and trauma — while learning how to reconnect with their true selves.

I weave together holistic and trauma-informed approaches like Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, inner child work, attachment styles, and parts exploration into my work.

The goal is to have you living your life, not just functioning.

Hi There! I’m Samantha.

As a therapist, I often meet people who are exhausted from trying to be everything for everyone, who feel like they’re “not enough” no matter how hard they try, or who feel like they’re drowning in their thoughts and emotions. Sound familiar? I’ve had to learn how to swim against the current and navigate harsh waves too.

Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you — because I don’t believe you’re broken. It’s about creating a safe space to unlearn the behaviors that keep you stuck, to rebuild your relationship with yourself, and to reclaim your worth — gently and at your own pace. We’ll talk, cry, reflect, laugh (yes, even in therapy!), and explore together. We’ll go where you’re ready to go.

As a woman, I also understand the invisible pressures many of us carry — to be nice, to be perfect, to never ask for too much. Working with a female clinician like myself can offer you a space of shared understanding — one where you don’t have to explain what it means to carry that weight. I get it and I’m here to help you let it go.

In the hustle and bustle of New York, it can be hard to slow down and take time for yourself.

If you’re feeling lost, stuck, anxious, or are just done trying to pretend that you’re fine, when you aren’t, I’d love to be able to walk with you on your journey.

TOOLS FOR THE JOURNEY: MODALITIES USED TO HELP YOU HEAL

More About Me

I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor because I witnessed firsthand, how beneficial it can be to have a safe outlet for yourself, where you can feel heard and validated. I know what it feels like to try to keep your head above water while pretending everything is fine. Here, you don’t have to. I believe in the power of empathy to heal and find connect, while embracing the difficult parts of ourselves to find resilience and compassion.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me spending time with my furry friend, curled up rewatching comfort shows, or soaking up the sun at the beach. I’m also a big fan of playlists that match your mood (yes, we can totally talk music in session). I bring my full, grounded self into this work — because you deserve to be met by someone who’s real.

“Anything that is human is mentionable and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.”

~ Fred Rogers
